A particular expertise
In addition to our global know-how in the design, manufacture and installation of special machines, Van de Velde has developed particular expertise in high value-added processes and applications for the demanding needs of sectors such as the automotive supplier industry.
Welding
With our partner Rinco, we develop and integrate ultrasonic welding systems adapted to complex parts: dashboards, door panels, center consoles, and many others… These processes guarantee solid, fast and material-friendly assemblies. We also offer “HeatStake” welding (hot punch welding).
Cutting
Our equipment allows the cutting of various components, in plastics and composites, textiles, food products, etc. The techniques used are: hot or cold punching, ultrasound, laser, etc.
Display & rebordering
We design specific systems for the application and edgefolding of leather, textiles, and PVC onto plastic inserts. We use the principle of glue reactivation or ultrasonic technology.
This technology is particularly applicable to medallions, armrests, bay windowd pillars, or other trim pieces.
Control
As the quality and safety of processes are essential, we integrate suitable control systems: presence/absence, distance, colors, textures, barcodes, RFID, Vision, etc.
